Where should I stay?
Downtown near Plaza Catalunya
If you want to stay in the heart of Barcelona then find accommodation near Plaza Catalunya. This area is well-connected for sightseeing, shopping, and transport.
Eixample Neighborhood
This is an upscale, residential neighborhood; you’ll find high-end shops and restaurants as well as some of the city’s most famous attractions including the Sagrada Familia, Gaudí's Casa Batlló and Casa Milà.
Historic Ciutat Vella District
The oldest part of the Barcelona is known as the Ciutat Vella. This district is comprised of five neighbourhoods; Poblesec, El Raval, Gothic, El Born/Ribera, and Barceloneta. This is a very central neighborhood so you’ll have easy access to La Rambla and other attractions in the city! The Teespring Team and event speakers are staying in the Gothic Quarter.
Sant Marti near Barcelona’s beaches
The Sant Marti district is the most modern district near Barcelona’s beaches and is comprised of neighbourhoods like Port Olimpic, Poblenou and Diagonal Mar. If you’re planning to go to the beach then this is a great area to stay in.

Spaniards are known for their love of good fiestas - and the Catalans are no exception! Two days before TeeCon EU is Saint John’s Eve or Nit de Sant Joan. The people of Barcelona will celebrate this holiday (also known as the summer solstice) the night of the 23rd.
